Dhoop Chhaon
The piece
Dhoop chhaon is sun and shade, the light on a veranda in the afternoon. The wool is dyed skein by skein from olive bronze through khaki and straw to a pale cream, so the rug walks out of the shade into the sun. Shown as a rendering. Woven to order in Jaipur.
