Kapali
The piece
The Kapali Yantra is a stone bowl with a map of the sky engraved inside it. Kapali takes that grid and lays it on a pebble of sandstone ochre, bending every line so that the flat rug reads as a gentle dome. The lines are carved low into the pile. Shown as a rendering. Woven to order in Jaipur.
