Rashivalaya
The piece
Only Jaipur has the Rashivalaya: twelve small instruments, one for each sign of the zodiac, each set at its own angle. Here they sit in a grid of twelve, every sundial in its own pair of colours, like a year of skies laid side by side. Shown as a rendering. Woven to order in Jaipur.
