Megh

The piece

Every instrument in the observatory needs a clear sky. Then the monsoon comes and the sky turns to cloud. Megh, the Hindi word for cloud, is that season: storm greys, indigo and pearl silk drifting across a rug cut to the edge of a cloud, with one bright tear of gold where the sun comes through. Shown as a rendering. Woven to order in Jaipur.
