The piece
Mustard field, black border, in a round format. Inside the circle, upright palmettes in gold, cream and brown climb on twisting vines in parallel rows, an allover repeat with no medallion. The black border ring carries larger palmettes with cream centres, and a camel edge closes it. The contrast is high and graphic. It suits a round breakfast table, a small entrance hall or a reading corner with a leather chair. Hand-knotted in Jaipur in hand-spun New Zealand wool with mulberry silk accents on a cotton warp, 6 to 10 months on the loom. Made to order in any size and colourway.
